Description
You Have to Win the Game is an exploration platformer with a retro 1980s PC aesthetic.
History
You Have to Win the Game began development in late 2011 following a few failed attempts at larger projects. Inspired by the elegant simplicity of VVVVVV, Kyle set out to make a game that would call back to his origins as a programmer in the late 80s and early 90s. Released for free in Spring 2012, You Have to Win the Game was an immediate success, being downloaded tens of thousands of times. In 2014, YHtWtG was re-released on Steam with new exclusive content. A sequel, Super Win the Game, followed in late 2014.
